Our Mission
Our Mission is to encourage positive sibling connections for brothers and sisters living in separate foster or adoptive homes.
At Camp To Belong we believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to spend meaningful time with their brothers and sisters. All too often, children living in foster or kinship care are separated from their siblings -- missing out on the special relationship-building moments most of us take for granted.
These are the moments Camp To Belong works to create, so kids living in foster care are able to have positive childhood memories of their own.

Our Past and Present
Camp to Belong Indiana was started in 2018 by Leah Edge and Becky Moore in an effort to bring the mission to the Hoosier State. Becky, a retired teacher and former foster youth, had a close connection to our mission and continued to serve as our Camp Director through May 2024. She is now and happy grandparent who supports the organization wherever and whenever available.
Jeana Jefferson is our current Director and comes in with over 10 years of experience in education, youth services, and social services. She is has an enduring spirit of care for youth in vulnerable circumstances and believes strongly in the power of ‘the village’ as she organizes the community to lift our youth and families. Jeana works in special education with the Metropolitan School District of Decatur Township and she is the mother of three boys who are now successful young adults, caring for the world around them in Central Indiana.
